A Very Late Post

Finally.

After weeks of uncertainty, I have finally found the mental and physical strength to visit my beloved blog and write about my current state here in Egypt. This will be a short one due to time constraints but, nevertheless, I'll try to squeeze everything in to make this post worthwhile.

Y'all know that I'm currently in Egypt working as a Staff Nurse for the Operating Room Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (OR-PACU) at Dar Al Fouad Hospital. Yes, it is a specialized area and only a limited number of experienced personnel could get assigned there. Haha. Anyways, work has been very hard. I have to assess post-operative patients in a matter of minutes and intervene as soon as possible within, of course, the scope of my job description. Nakakapagod. By the way, I work for 12 hours a day so one could only imagine the state of my body after work. Haaay.

The Pinoy community here in Egypt is, as always, very pleasant. Everyone knows everyone. Not to mention that gossip's like tea here. Haha. Plus, whoever cooks "Sinigang" or "Nilagang Baka" is always a winner. I always get myself invited for dinner and it's always pleasing to feast on free Filipino Food. Yummy! Overall, it feels as if I never left the Philippines.

Touristic spots will have to wait. I plan to start my official Egyptian Escapade by the 2nd quarter of next year due to financial constraints. Plus, I direly need a decent camera to capture every detail. Haha. I certainly hope that I have enough money by that time for the expected expenses. Yikes!

Lovelife?! Errr. That's my biggest secret EVER. Haha. :)

There. I can't think straight right now due to the uncertainty of my laundry's state, not to mention the unpleasant status of the internet connection here. Haha. :p
